Jump'in Sam Marsh Reclining Kimblewick Bit
Jump'in Sam Marsh Reclining Kimblewick Bit
Composition: Stainless steel – Flat, tilting mouthpiece, 20 mm thick
This Goyo Aga bit is designed to offer precise control, a direct yet progressive action, and quick responsiveness, while maintaining a light feel in the horse’s mouth.
Its slim 20 mm flat mouthpiece is particularly suitable for horses with limited space in the mouth, or for riders seeking clarity in contact without excess volume.
The flat, straight mouthpiece, articulated at a 90° angle, naturally adapts to the horse’s jaw. This design promotes bit mobility, while providing a broad lateral contact surface, ensuring even pressure distribution.
The integrated tongue relief helps to reduce pressure on the palate, supporting relaxation, comfort, and better bit acceptance.
The Goyo Aga is a mild leverage bit that combines bar pressure, poll flexion, and potential forehand elevation, depending on:
– the rein configuration (single or double),
– the shank length (short here),
– and the type of curb chain used.
This bit is especially suited for:
– Horses that tend to lean on the hand or curl behind the contact,
– Horses needing a gentle but defined frame,
– Use in jumping, cross-country, or flatwork requiring balance and control.
Usage tips:
– Can be used with single reins (with or without rein converters)
– Or with double reins to separate direct and leverage effects
– The curb action can be softened or intensified depending on the curb chain material (leather, nylon, coated chain…)
The slim 20 mm tilting mouthpiece ensures a quick, precise, and stable action without overloading the horse’s mouth.
Maintenance advice: rinse the bit after each use to prevent any residue deposit and to avoid your horse to feel any discomfort.
